Detoxification of the body depends primarily on the liver; no other organ comes into daily contact with so many toxic substances. Thus, it is no surprise that such a high percentage of the population of Central Europe suffers from hepatic illnesses.

Excessive consumption of alcohol and fatty foods overloads the liver. Additionally, a whole range of other toxins can damage this vital organ. Among these, several medications and toxic substances (for example, paracetamol or other chemical products) may encourage the development of various forms of hepatic damage.

Supplementing with Liverxin®, a combination of several vitamins and amino acids including niacin, vitamin B12, choline, inositol and cysteine, can protect against these hepatotoxic effects, while also helping to support liver health in general.

Liverxin® encourages the metabolism of alcohol. The coenzymes NADPH and NADH help to counteract the harmful effects of alcohol and certain medications due to the essential role they play in the chemical reduction of the relative metabolites. Liverxin®’s unique combination of amino acids, vitamin B12 and niacin support the healthy production of NADPH and NADH, thereby reducing the load of acetaldehyde and other toxins on the liver.

Liverxin® promotes detoxification. The L-cysteine (hydrochloride) contained in Liverxin® performs two essential functions. The first function is to form glutathione within the hepatic cells. Glutathione is the key substance in the hepatic detoxification process, through which toxic substances and their metabolites are initially bonded and then rendered harmless. The second function of cysteine is to capture lactic acid, a toxic substance distributed throughout the entire body that is capable of damaging the liver. Pyruvic acid is formed when cysteine combines with lactic acid, and is subsequently recycled as an intermediate product in the metabolism of sugars.

Liverxin® promotes liver health and regeneration. Liverxin® also contains inositol and choline (bitartrate), which are components of the phosphoglycerides that can be found in the membranes of liver cells. Along with other molecules, these substances form sphingomyelins, the primary building blocks that make up the membranes of hepatic cells. Therefore, regular supplementation with Liverxin® promotes regeneration of the membranes of the liver, protecting against further damage on a cellular level. Other amino acids that perform crucial detoxifying functions include:

L-arginine: L-arginine is involved in several metabolic processes and is essential for ammonia detoxification during the urea cycle. It also supports a strong and healthy immune system.

L-glycine: L-glycine contributes to the detoxification of the liver and helps to produce creatine. This amino acid also plays an important role in the metabolism of methionine.

L-phenylalanine: L-phenylalanine is helpful in cases of digoxin poisoning and the treatment of hepatic illnesses. It is also an essential amino acid for supporting the proper functioning of the bladder and detoxification of the kidneys.

L-tyrosine: L-tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid that is necessary for restoring hepatic function in cases of serious illnesses and inflammation.

L-methionine: This amino acid promotes the decomposition of fat in the liver, arteries, brain, heart and kidneys. It promotes detoxification through the elimination of heavy metals and fats accumulated in the blood, helping to protect cardiovascular health. This amino acid also supports healthy regeneration of kidney and liver tissue.

L-threonine: Thanks to its lipotropic function, in collaboration with aspartic acid and methionine, L-threonine discourages the deposit of fat in the liver, promoting healthy metabolism.

L-serine: L-serine is vital for the healthy metabolism of fats and fatty acids, for muscular growth and the for a strong, healthy immune system.

The essential amino acids leucine, valine and isoleucine carry out several vital functions in human metabolism, especially those relating to the metabolism of proteins in the liver and the muscular system.

L-alanine: L-alanine plays a very important role in the metabolic processes of the liver and muscles. It is also essential in the distribution of glucose, as it provides energy and helps maintain healthy blood pressure within normal ranges.

L-asparagine: L-asparagine promotes detoxification of the body and works to degrade alcohol in the kidneys. This amino acid is vital when there is an accumulation of toxins in the body. Asparaginic acid promotes the expulsion of ammonia, which helps to protect the liver. In collaboration with other amino acids, it forms the molecules that bond with toxins in order to remove them via the blood.

L-histidine: L-histidine possesses antioxidant properties and contributes to the elimination of heavy metals by detoxifying the body and promoting the absorption of iron.

Glutaminic acid: Glutaminic acid promotes detoxification by absorbing the cytotoxin ammonia. In this process, glutamine is created and can be converted into glucose in the liver, helping to maintain healthy blood sugar levels.

L-lysine: L-lysine contributes to the construction of collagen and promotes fat metabolism, while also protecting against viruses and promoting healthy blood pressure within normal ranges.

L-proline: Like L-lysine, L-proline consists of glutamic acid and is involved in the production of collagen. It acts as a cushion within the cells, protecting them from harmful substances.

The combination of active substances in Liverxin® helps to prevent the formation of acetaldehyde, therefore protecting against its hepato-toxic effects. Liverxin® may, therefore, be helpful in cases of an enlarged liver. It can be particularly useful in situations where it is necessary to ingest medications that in combination may be harmful to the liver. Taking blood tests to identify the hepatic enzymes transaminase and gamma-GT can help measure possible damage to the liver.

The use of Liverxin® is also recommended to protect against cellular damage to the liver due to alcohol abuse. New studies have also proven that taking Liverxin® with rich and fatty meals helps to reduce the load on the liver. On these occasions, it helps to prevent the feeling of excessive bloating, lightens the load of toxic substances on the liver and efficiently and safely supports the healthy regeneration of hepatic cells.
