Turn Around® is the intelligently designed product for mastering a difficult situation. Two different active substances reduce the uptake of fats and carbohydrates contained in food. They act like a kind of biologic magnet and attract the biggest energy molecules in the digestive tract, already, and inhibit their storage in fat depots. The molecules that are bound in this way are excreted undigested by the body. This applies both to fats and sugar. Chitosan: Chitosan is an amino polysaccharide extracted from shells and the chitin shield of crustaceans (crabs, lobsters, shrimps, etc.). Regarding the effect of chitosan, this substance acts like a magnet. In the intestines, the polysaccharide produces a positively charged gel which attracts the negatively charged fat molecules and binds them so that a big polymer (a combination of many molecules) is created. Due to its size, this polymer can no longer be digested. It then «catches» further solid materials – such a sugar and carbohydrates – which the body would otherwise convert into fat and deposit. The substances bound in this way are excreted undigested by the body.
White bean extract: The sulfur-containing substance of the seed blocks enzyme alpha-amylase, which is responsible for splitting starch into glucose in the intestines. Since the body can only absorb glucose, the starch that has not been split is excreted undigested as if it were bulkage.
Citrus aurantium: The extract of the Chinese medicinal herb Citrus aurantium is used to treat gastric complaints in the traditional medicine of the Far East. For millenniums, this plant which the Chinese call «Zhi Shi» has been used to treat digestive disorders, gastro-intestinal complaints as well as to improve the blood supply and the liver functions.
Now it has been found that the active ingredients of the plant accelerate the reduction of the stored fat and, therefore, can be successfully used to fight overweight without causing a stress or alarm reaction in the body. The combination of five amino compounds contained in «Zhi Shi» is an ideal aid that helps to simultaneously reduce weight and build up muscle substance.

Lowering of cholesterol: A frequent symptom found in the population of Central Europe is an increased cholesterol level. Epidemiologic research has shown that increased blood fats as well as hypertension are the main contributing factors for developing cardiac and vascular diseases. Studies showed that the active ingredient chitosan contained in Turn Around® is a potent substance for effectively lowering an increased cholesterol level in blood, causing in particular a lowering of the «bad» LDL cholesterol and an increase in the «good» HDL cholesterol.
Hypotensive effect: According to another scientific study, chitosan caused increased blood pressure levels in males eating a diet very rich in salt to go down. This effect is probably caused by the fact that chitosan reduces the absorption of chloride in the gastro-intestinal tract. Given the fact that the sodium and chloride contained in kitchen salt may, in the long run, lead to a hyperhydration of the body, experts assume that this water retention is partly a causative principle for the occurrence of hypertension.

DOSAGE
In normal cases take 2 capsules with plenty of fluid 30 minutes before lunch and before dinner, 1 tablet immediately after lunch and after dinner.
SIDE EFFECTS / CONTRAINDICATIONS
No harmful side effects are known. Persons with a strong fish allergy might experience intolerance reactions.
Pregnant and lactating women should consult a doctor before use. People suffering from intestinal malabsorption syndrome should not take Turn Around®.
INSTRUCTIONS
Long-term intake of Turn Around® can impair the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A,D,E and K) as well as of other minerals.
It is therefore recommended, as is generally with any weight-loss diet, to simultaneously take a multivitamin preparation such as Vitachron®.
